A message from Rafael Venegas about music piracy:
As of 2004, there are over 75 records on sale with songs by Guillermo Venegas. Incredibly not a single cent has been received from royalties from anyone, by the music's administrator, GVL Inc. or the GVL children who own the music, at least since 1993. A sad note on the state of affairs of the music industry that is so concerned (really?) about music piracy and the welfare of composers. We have tried letters, lawsuit threats, meetings, you name it, even lawsuits, so as to get paid. All we have gotten are evasive answers, court delays, incredible court decisions, you name it. As of now, nothing has worked.
